Don’t be a Victim

Originally, this was a supplemental post and was not to be included in the curriculum of the Victory Series. However, I have been impressed to include it. A key to achieving Victory is to Evade capture when possible. However, some are taken prisoner regardless of training and expertise. It is not their fault.

There is a tendency for one who is victimized to become an assailant or predator themselves. There are innumerable examples of predators who also were preyed upon when young.

However, that is no excuse.

Instead, when you are attacked, refuse to label yourself a victim. When you are a victim, you become weak and sometimes, you consider yourself deserving of the attack. It is a vicious process: first born of anger and resentment (it was not fair), you had no one to protect you, you were alone (now you will be alone forever), it is everyone else’s fault (they do not understand), maybe they were right (I deserved it).

From examples mentioned above, as a victim, you prepare to strike back but your retaliation does not always find your attacker. It can befall your loved ones, friends, and strangers caught in your twisted, warped warpath.

Instead, seek closure by following a path to self-divinity-actualization: the process of learning your divine destiny through forgetting your mortal past.

God has said He will forgive our sins only if we forgive others their trespasses (Matthew 6:14-15). Christ Himself said when struck, turn the other cheek (Matt 5:39). Furthermore, God has said He will remember our sins no more (Jeremiah 31:34), and that includes the sins committed against you, because He is the God of the holy and unholy alike, which is fortunate for all of us because we are often unholy ourselves.

To be victimized is an unavoidable side effect of being Human. We are born into a wilderness, doomed to fend off beasts that grow stronger and faster than us. Although we have recently asserted ourselves as the dominant species on Earth, it has not always been so. And it was not easy.

Therefore, I believe it to be most Human to progress forward – forward and upward (even unto a Heavenly abode).

You cannot reach your full potential if you do not move forward after an attack, to resist the inclination to become a victim, and therefore become a predator yourself.

Regardless, you can be drawn to take one of these roles upon you.

Remember that we are just as capable of inflicting pain as we are of receiving it. It is important to not allow either the role of victim or predator define you. Instead, observe them as a duality, always shifting. Do not orient

Breaking the Cycle

To become effective freedom fighters, you’re going to have to change your modus operati, or mode of operation. You need to break a few rules.

You see, the tyrant is obsessed with rules. They’re made-up rules. I call them, Stories you have told yourself. And because you have told yourself these stories, you believe they come from a credible source.

But really, they come from the tyrant. It is his agenda you are pushing forward.

The tyrant is the weakest part of ourselves. But he doesn’t want us to know how weak he is. Therefore, he has projected that weakness on you – his presumed servant.

By overthrowing the tyrant, we put ourselves in the seat of power. And, as the body is a top-down organization, when we have control of our minds we can win our freedom. We can achieve Victory.

So, what rules do we have to break?

Any rule that says, Because of this, that will happen.

Take for example, The cyclical nature of life. As we are born, we will die. As the sun rises, we expect it to set. But when it comes to our personal lives, there is not predestined outcome. We make our own rules. We have the break the cycle.

Because you are on the Warpath, you know that I have said to avoid all dogmatic thinking. There are no predestined outcomes.

This is an example of Thinking Errors.

BYU-Pathway Worldwide

Victimization—you feel like you are being harmed by people that have no intention of harming you.

Pride—your perceived status in the world is based on how you compare to others.

Entitlement—you deserve this or that because of your perceived status in the world.

Powerlessness—you can’t do this, you can’t do that, you can’t even try.

Giving up—because you messed up, you give up and stop trying.

Justification—you can commit this sin because it is not a big deal, or you’re being pressured into it, or you deserve a little fun, and many others.
Scarcity mentality—there is never enough (fun, food, money, opportunities, and many others).

People pleasing—you must please or impress others to maintain your value as a person or to keep from being devalued as a person.

Minimize or catastrophize—you distort issues, events, choices, and many others to make them smaller or bigger than they really are.

Deceit—you tell yourself something is different than the way it really is.

The tyrant would rather you accept your place and because he would rather stay comfortable, he encourages you to procrastinate. Breaking the cycle cannot be put off for another time.

In a relationship, there are times during which you find you are not talking as much, or there is less passion than there once was. That is something that cannot be put off for another time. If you wait until tomorrow, you have lost precious time with that person.

This doesn’t have to be a romantic partner. It can be the relationship between a parent and child, best friends, or a teacher and student.

So, how do we break the cycle? How do we break the rules established by the tyrant?

We have to make our own rules.

We have to decide what is important (a Vision), and then we must take action (attain that Vision)

Tomorrow, make a rule that you have the wake up an hour earlier. Make rules that force you to Give In. Make a rule that you have to finally talk to that person. Make it a rule to save money. And make it unlawful to let someone down, especially yourself.

As we exercise power in our own lives (Free Will), we render the tyrant powerless. We overthrow him one day at a time until we are free.

Now, go fight for your freedom. Break a few rules.

SERE Training: Evasion

This is only an introduction to SERE Training. The real things starts later, once you have progressed further down the Warpath.

Don’t Get Flanked

Have you encountered the enemy today?

Were you confronted first thing this morning, when the alarm went off? Did you get ambushed on the way to work? How many losses did you suffer today?

There are no acceptable losses along the Warpath.

If you’re fighting a war – and we are all fighting for our freedom – do not expect the enemy to come in orderly ranks. Do not expect only one great battle each day. Instead, you’re going to have to be fully alert. Beware a relentless guerrilla war and hit and run tactics from the enemy.

I want you to start refining your daily routine. You may not be ready to create the perfect day, but you can start fine tuning. Fine tuning is making small adjustments that have great impact.

You know your routine better than anyone. You know where there is room for improvement. You also know where your pitfalls are. How can you shore up your defenses right now to protect yourself in the future.

Don’t put yourself in a compromised position. Don’t Get Flanked!

If you’re serious about winning your freedom – if you actually want to win – then, you’re going to need more time. It is possible to find more time. You just have to make better decisions with the time you have.

I have called this Time Warfare (more on that later) and, depending on what tactics you employ in this kind of warfare, you either achieve complete Victory or you will be locked in a bloody stalemate.

Take time to review battle plans and prepare to engage the enemy.

Make no mistake about it, The enemy is preparing. They are scheming. They are planning your defeat. If you want to achieve Victory, then you better have a plan.

Don’t Get Captured

You may not be ready to create the perfect day. So for now, you just need to focus on evading capture!

Being captured means you don’t get to finish the war. You’re stuck.

When we fail to plan, we miss obvious signs of enemy subterfuge – we get flanked. Getting flanked means our position is compromised. Remember, the enemy is opportunistic, they will take you prisoner if you do not implement the proven strategies for success.

But you may be asking yourself, Where can I learn these strategies? One might suggest to buy their latest book. Or attend their seminar. But to be honest, it’s not about what someone else is going to do for you – it’s about what you have to do.

You must set Definitive Goals.

Definitive goal setting requires more than just writing down a goal and measuring your progress toward the goal. To make it definitive, you have to figure out if it (the goal) will get you to where you actually want to go. It has to work. If something isn’t working, switch it up.

We have to keep moving and stay alert. We are evading capture.

I’ve provided a guide for setting Definitive Goals:

Definitive goals are refined. They take time to develop.

First, set an activity – it can be anything that you think will help you reach your desired result, the goal.

For example, if your goal is to write a novel – write.

Next, set the Frequency of the Activity – e.g. write thirty minutes each day.

After a while, measure the ROI (the return of investment) of the Frequency and, if necessary, change the frequency – NOT THE ACTIVITY!

I’ve said it before, we generally know what is good for us, we know what we need to do – we just don’t do it. The reason being, we get burnt out, we don’t let ourselves adjust.

Scale back the frequency if it is detrimental to your goal. Are you starting to hate writing? Has it become a chore? Furthermore, if no level of frequency provides a return of your investment, it is time to Review Your Goal.

Is it really what you want, or did it just sound like something you should want? Are you setting your goals to be like someone you admire, or are your goals personal and definitive? Will achieving the goal get you to where you want to be?

On the other hand, if it is difficult but you see the return of your investment, continue to Execute.

*Set Activity, Set Frequency of Activity, Measure ROI of Frequency, Review Goal/Keep Executing.

SERE Training: Survival

SERE Training (in the Warcloud Elite System) is based on learning how to achieve Victory despite the odds against you.

This is only an introduction to SERE Training. The real things starts later, once you have progressed further along the Warpath.

Run For Your Life

There is something inside all of us, fighting to stay alive. Our bodies are equipped with a trigger that can bring to bear all our might – this is called the sympathetic nervous system.

Our bodies depend on efficient hormone levels, which balance our very existence. When these chemicals inside our bodies are outside the normal threshold, we are at risk.

That risk is the ultimate enemy – the one we have been fighting since the day we were conceived: death.

Even in the womb, although defenseless, the processes of our bodies were nurtured or inhibited by the hormonal responses of our mothers. Stress and poor nutrition are major hindrances on our optimal health, largely due to their impact on our nervous system, which regulates the production of vital chemical distribution throughout our bodies.

When exploring the benefits of running, the lowering of stressful and crippling hormonal imbalances are among them.

Now, let’s forget all that scientific mumbo jumbo.

Running is a very primal activity.

Funny story about my mother. When I was a teenager, I walked into a shoe store with her. The employee was trying to figure out what kind of shoe she was looking for, and asked, Do you run?

My mother, without missing a beat, answered, “Only if someone is chasing me.” She was dead serious.

It’s true, though. Our ancestors were not waking up to go running before work. They didn’t go to the gym. Instead, they ran to hunt their food or to escape predators.

In fact, the animals they hunted were more explosive in their movement – meaning, they could outrun humans for a short distance – but our ancestors possessed more endurance, and could catch up to the winded animals.

Our aerobic capacity has an incredible potential, which most of us are not utilizing.

Now, we may not need to chase down a gazelle. But remember that science stuff I was talking about earlier? Our ancestors took that for granted – they enjoyed hormonal balance and did not likely suffer the crippling effects of unstimulated nervous systems.

If you want to have more control over your vessel in this journey of life, you will need a fully functioning, and highly sensitive nervous system. Your body needs to communicate with itself and with you. If the nervous system is weak or mute, it cannot warn you of potential threats.

Don’t die. Go for a run.

Primal Rage

I’m going to ask you to get mad, and to act out that rage.

Now, I’m not talking about intimidation. This is not about exerting control over others, but rather asserting dominance over yourself – controlling your mind. No one should know that you’re enraged at all times because this is going to be a battle you fight within yourself.

If you are going to be fighting for your survival, you’re going to need a fire in your belly.

I’m talking about winning your freedom.

Think of an ancient gladiator. Not Russell Crowe, not in the glorious Colosseum. Think of a Man standing on blood stained earth, in some dirty hole, dug in the ground for the sole purpose of death. And think about the mindset he must have, knowing that he is a slave, and under obligation to fight.

He is perhaps indignant – it’s not fair that he should have to do this. This isn’t what he wanted for his life. He had a different Vision for his life.

We may not be literal slaves, but some of us are imprisoned by envisioning only – we don’t do the things we’re supposed to do. I am telling you, we are under obligation. Remember who is counting on you.

First, you need to win your freedom.

But you’re going to have to fight for it! You have to become a Freedom Fighter – struggling against the cruel oppression of a tyrant. The tyrant in your mind.

He has set up obstacles in your path (stories you tell yourself) and raised a vicious secret police to thwart you at every turn (toxic relationships). So, what do you have to do?

You’re going to have to overthrow him.

You have to start undermining him. You’re going to have to start compromising his established rule over your life by implementing tactics in order to win your freedom – to grasp Victory.

But you’re going to have to want to win. You’re going to have to get mad. You’re going to have to be OVERCOME WITH RAGE! Your whole being – every muscle, every thought – must be dedicated to The Cause.

Because that is the only thing that will keep you going. As a gladiator in a pit, you’re going to have to kill and maim without conscious thought. You must detach. Resolve to win.

Now, start fighting.
